Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital provides world-class, patient-centered care for a seven-county region in Western North Carolina, North Georgia and East Tennessee. The 25-bed critical access facility is the region’s only hospital anchored by a leading academic medical center. Services include a wide spectrum of specialties, from orthopedics & sports medicine to urology, and general surgery. The cardiac rehab program is the only accredited program in the region; other rehab services offered deliver pulmonary, speech, occupational, and physical therapies. Life Force Air Medical also has local bases in Andrews, NC, and Blue Ridge, GA, for those patients needing advanced critical care.
