Description
In 2017, we will run a total of five excursions offering 4 different local breweries:
3/17 Friday; 5/27; 6/17; 7/1; 9/2- STEAM
Three 4 oz samplings of locally crafted beer and root beer! Along the ride to the Fontana Trestle passengers will enjoy their samplings and history of the local brewery being featured all while eating a BBQ and Ribs dinner. When we arrive at the Trestle everyone will head out to the open air cars to enjoy some bluegrass music and the spectacular sunset over the Fontana Trestle. At this time fill your souvenir glass with extra pints of the local craft beer and/or bar service, available for purchase. For our Labor Day special BBQ & Brews will be led by our 1702 steam engine on 9/2 that is sure to delight!
Seating
The train will offer “adult only seating” and “family friendly seating”

Meal
All passengers will receive a BBQ, ribs, coleslaw, and chips, served picnic-style with a slice of apple pie for dessert.
Veggie option available upon request.
All soft drinks, coffee, and tea are included.
Amenity to take home
All adults (21+) will receive the BBQ and Brews souvenir can shaped tasting glass
Under 21 years will receive the plastic souvenir GSMR tumbler for the Root Beer or nonalcoholic beverage of choice.
