Licensed Practical Nurse

Prerequisites: 
Employee must meet the requirements for employment with Murphy Rehabilitation. Murphy Rehabilitation will require applicants of good character with positive references, passing Pre-Employment Drug test and an acceptable Criminal Background check. 
Employees may enter the Career Ladder in various stages of their career development. Acceptance into the Murphy Rehabilitation Career Ladder Program will vary based on the needs of the facility, and our ability to offer continuing employment to the employee. 
Employees who want to go to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must first meet the requirements for a CNA, and be actively working as a CNA for Murphy Rehab for at least 24 hours per week. Murphy Rehab will pay all fees associated with tuition and books, as well as initial certification. LPN's starting base rate of pay can be from $25-$28+/hr, or $52,000 to $58,240 with shift differential, day shift starting pay would range from $53,387 to $59,627 and night shift starting pay would range from $56,850 to $63,093 (NOT COUNTING 90-DAY INCENTIVE) per year in this role and will be qualified for Group Medical Coverage (Company Pays approximately 80%). A Contract is required to enter this program that requires sponsored students to continue to work with Murphy Rehab for 2 years after they attain their degree, or all fees must be paid back to employer.
