Description
Learn an old textile art called "weft twining" using strips of fabric to create a rag rug. In this class the student will create a small rag rug for a coffee or tea mug. Twining is done on a frame and the texture resembles braiding. This method is also called braid weaving or Indian tie weaving. No previous experience required. Class is suitable for adults and teens. All supplies included to complete. The fabric and frames will be prepared by the Instructor prior to class. The students will complete on mug rug. The student will select fabric and will receive handouts for future projects. Instructor: Joyce Clair
