Beginning Loom Weaving

Description

For students who have always wanted to learn how to weave on a loom, this is the class. There are only two students who can sign up for the class. One student will learn how to weave a scarf on a small loom and the other student will weave a table runner or rug on the big loom. First-come, first-served on the choice of weaving a scarf or a table runner. So sign up soon! The Instructor has the loom ready for weaving. The students will pick out the different yarns and fabrics and will be instructed to use the shuttles and foot petals on the different looms. The first session will get the student started and they can come back to the Art Center and weave on their own between sessions. The second session, the instructor will come in and teach how to finish and tie off the woven piece. Come create a one-of-a kind piece of fiber art! Instructor: Sherry Bolin
