Appalachian Storytelling with storyteller Kanute Rarey and Friends.
Come on out! Grab a seat, sit a spell, and enjoy the view for an evening of storytelling; swapping stories, personal adventures, folk school history, legends and lies and a tall tales or two in the comfort of the Keith House. From farm land to folk school, moonshine to mountain laurel, trails to turnpikes, drum beat to banjos, Cherokee to shamrocks, Chunky Gal and Hanging Dog to Brasstown Bald and back again. You’ll find joy in the magic of story and wonder of the moment.
